Olga Golubovska, MD, PhD

Biography

Professor Olga Golubovska, MD, PhD has received her MD diploma at Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine in 1991. After graduating and completing a residency in Infectious Diseases she started to work at the ID Department of  Bogomolets National Medical University as an assistant. She was granted a PhD diploma in infectious diseases in 2002.

She is a practicing infectious diseases specialist, and currently a head (since 2009) at the Department of Infectious Diseases of Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Professor Golubovska is Chief Infectious Disease specialist of Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine, Editor-in-Chief of "Clinical infectology and parasitology (international scientific journal)" and member of the editorial boards of medical journals "Hepatology" and "Tuberculosis, lung diseases and HIV infection". She is the author of over 200 papers.

Her research focuses on viral hepatitis, HIV infection, malaria and travel medicine, influenza and vaccine-controlled diseases.
