Prof. Eun Sun Jang is a Professor at the Digestive Disease Center, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and the Department of Internal Medicine, Seoul National University College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Seoul National University in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in 2011 and a Ph.D. in 2013.
Since joining Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in 2011, Prof. Jang has held various academic and clinical roles, including Assistant and Associate Professor, before being appointed to her current position. From 2022 to 2023, she was a visiting fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States, where she focused on liver disease research.
Prof. Jang is actively involved in the medical community, serving on committees of several academic societies, including the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver, the Korean Liver Cancer Association, and the Korean Gastroenterological Society. Her research primarily focuses on hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and liver cancer, with numerous publications in these areas.
