The Chinese HIV Clinical Forum took place as a virtual meeting on 19 November 2022

The HIV CLINICAL FORUM is developed as part of a series of interactive programs that provide independent medical education on emerging topics in HIV. The program features International and regions experts in order to provide HIV clinicians and allied healthcare professionals with updates on the latest developments related to HIV management, providing opportunities for sharing of clinical experience and presenting results from ongoing and completed cohorts/research programs.

This forum meeting provides challenging plenary lectures (in Chinese and English) followed by ample time for Q&A and debate in order to bridge the knowledge gap between experts and the HIV treating community in China. The program includes clinical case presentations to discuss real-life challenges.

​The HIV Clinical Forum is a series of interactive programs that provide an independent scientific program on emerging topics in HIV involving experts where HIV clinicians and allied healthcare professionals receive updates on the latest developments related to HIV management, where they can share their clinical experience and present the results from their ongoing and completed cohorts/ research programs.

Who Should Attend?
Primary: Medical doctors involved in the management and treatment of people living with HIV in the region

Secondary: Researchers

Tertiary: Healthcare workers, clinical virologists, microbiologists, scientists, pharmacologists, nurses, post-doctoral researchers, students, and other healthcare professionals involved in treating people living with HIV.
Meeting Objectives
With the HIV Clinical Forum program, we aim to:

• Build a community of healthcare professionals devoted to providing optimal clinical care for their patients

• Create a platform for interactive information exchange on novel treatment strategies and options

• Translate the latest studies and research achievements into clinical guidance for the optimal management of people living with HIV
Learning Objectives
After participating in the HIV Clinical Forum, participants will be able to:

• Understand the scientific rationale and clinical data supporting novel treatment strategies

• Describe the pros and cons of novel treatment strategies and drugs

• Understand how to integrate novel treatment strategies into routine patient care

• Be knowledgeable of the clinical data supporting long-acting injectable regimens

• Identify patients who might most benefit from long-acting injectable regimens

• Gain knowledge on how to optimally integrate injectable drugs into routine clinical care

• Improve their skills in defining and identifying treatment experienced HIV patients

• Stay informed on new drug options for treatment experienced patients

• Understand how best to use new treatment options for highly treatment experienced HIV patients
