Biography

Dr. Finzi is Professor at Université de Montréal and researcher at the Centre de Recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM). Dr Finzi is a leader in HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein conformational changes, accessory proteins and Fc-mediated effector functions. His work has important implications for the development of new therapeutic strategies to fight HIV-1. The excellence of Dr Finzi’s research program has been recognized by several distinctions and awards. Since November 2020 he is a Member of The College of the Royal Society of Canada.
