Biography

Dr. Angelina Jayakumar is a consultant physician in Infectious Diseases, HIV and General Internal Medicine at Barts Health NHS Trust, London. She is also the Acute Medicine Educational Co-Lead, a Clinical Educator, and the Barts Health Parasitology Network Representative.

Angelina has interests in TB, HIV and TB co-infection, medical education, clinical ethics, and social justice. She has advanced degrees in both medical education, ethics and human rights law. She has past experience undertaking advocacy work with a migrants' rights charity, co-founding the Barts Health Clinical Ethics committee, and establishing a trust wide clinical ethics education programme.
