Biography

Anushka Naidoo, PhD, MMedSc, BPharm, is a senior research and principal investigator based at the Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa, Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu Natal. Dr Naidoo received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Pharmacology and Master of Medical Science from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Dr Naidoo’s research program focuses on optimizing the cotreatment of HIV and TB in adults and children. Dr Naidoo serves as the principal investigator on several clinical trials focused on optimizing co-dosing of antiretroviral regimens in people with tuberculosis. Dr Naidoo serves as a clinical pharmacologist on the NIH DAIDS ACTG Tuberculosis Transformative Science group.
