Biography
Arnim Gaebler is a hospital psychiatrist and clinician scientist at the university hospital of RWTH Aachen university, Germany. In 2014 he received his medical license. In 2016 he obtained an MD degree on fMRI signatures of auditory mismatch deficits in schizophrenia. While receiving clinical training in different medical specialtys including psychiatry, internal medicine, neurology and neuroradiology, he continued his research on neuroimaging and computational biomarkers of mental disorders, clinical psychopharmacology as well as cellular models of mental disorders with a particular focus on schizophrenia. In 2024, he became an assistant professor as well as a board-certified psychiatrist.
In his daily job he combines his clinical activities with his research as head of the computational psychiatry lab.
