Biography

Dr. B B Rewari is Medical officer for viral Hepatitis/HIV and STIs at World Health Organisation, South-East Asia Regional Office providing technical support to 11 countries in the region. He is also an honorary Clinical Professor at Division of Global Health, University of Washington and a former Associate Professor of Medicine at Dr RML hospital New Delhi ( a tertiary care public hospital) .He is also fellow of Royal College of Physicians (Ireland). And Vice Dean of Association of Physicians of India He has been involved with the care of HIV infected persons from late nineties. He led the ART programme at National AIDS Control organization India for 14 years steering it to world second largest ART programme. He has more than 90 publications, has written a number of books and received many awards and orations
