Biography

Carolien Wylock holds a nursing degree and a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences.

Since 2000, she has been working as an HIV nurse consultant at the HIV Reference Centre of the University Hospital Brussels (UZ Brussel). With 25 years of experience in HIV care, Carolien focuses on patient counseling, adherence support, and empowerment.

Carolien actively contributes to multidisciplinary HIV care to improve the quality of life op patients through personalized guidance and evidence-based practice.

Recently, Carolien joined the European HIV Nursing Network, where she contributes to international collaboration and knowledge exchange in HIV nursing.
