Biography

Dr. Cheríe Blair, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in adult infectious diseases. She provides clinical care at the UCLA Clinical AIDS Research and Education (CARE) Center, where her work focuses on the prevention and treatment of HIV and other STIs. Her research centers on STI prevention and treatment, HIV prevention, and substance use. Dr. Blair also serves as Co-Protocol Chair of the multicenter “foXXy doxy” study, a clinical trial evaluating doxycycline for STI prophylaxis among adolescents and young people assigned female at birth in the United States, conducted through the Adolescent Trials Network and the HIV Prevention Trials Network.
