Biography
Trained epidemiologist with interest and expertise in public health and international health, with more than 15 years ‘experience of undertaking population-based studies in the field of public health, in national public health agencies, and in the pharmaceutical industry. Experienced in designing, implementing and evaluating research projects in high- and middle-income countries. More than 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry working on vaccine development and management of vaccine’s lifecycle leading the delivery of Epidemiology research, Medical Affairs strategy, and scientific plans to define the data gaps and generate evidence across different functions. Currently leading the medical organization for Moderna in Italy and serves as guest lecturer at multiple universities in Italy covering topics of vaccine development and clinical research, real world evidence and vaccine hesitancy.
