Biography

Ellen Moseholm is a senior researcher at the Department of Infectious Diseases at Copenhagen University Hospital, Hvidovre, Denmark, and an associate professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on the health and healthcare priorities of women living with HIV across the life course, with particular emphasis on pregnancy, patient-reported outcomes, and the psychosocial aspects of living with HIV. She has over a decade of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research among women with HIV and their children and has led multicentre studies at national and international levels. Ellen Moseholm played a pivotal role in establishing the Danish HIV Birth Cohort and has managed several nationwide epidemiological and longitudinal survey studies across the Nordic countries and Europe. She currently serves on the WAVE/EACS Scientific Steering Committee and leads two WAVE projects focusing on menopause and healthcare perceptions among women living with HIV.
