Biography

Henry Pertinez, PhD, is a Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, Centre Of Excellence In Long Acting Therapeutics (CELT). Dr Pertinez has an undergraduate master’s degree in Biochemistry and received his PhD in pharmacometrics from Manchester University, having previously worked as a preclinical drug metabolism scientist at Pfizer's former Sandwich laboratories. Dr Pertinez's research centres on application of various pharmacometric modelling approaches to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data arising out of the application of long acting therapeutics, with particular focus on preclinical stages of R&D and the subsequent translation to human.
