Biography

Joe Piscitelli is Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology at Pfizer Inc. in San Diego, California, USA. In 2020 he received his PharmD degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He then completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the University of California San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in partnership with Pfizer Inc. Joe joined the Clinical Pharmacology department at Pfizer in 2022 and his research has focused on oncology drug development across multiple cancer types. He has provided clinical pharmacology support on multiple global submissions and has published extensively. His experience has included biologics and small molecule development across all study phases.
Outside of work, Joe is an avid traveler and sports fan, who also enjoys strength training and experiencing the restaurant scene of the greater San Diego area.
