Biography

Dr. Kiesha Prem is an Assistant Professor at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. Her work contributes to global health through infectious disease modelling and vaccine impact evaluation. She applies computational modelling and economic evaluation to address public health challenges across Southeast Asia and globally, supporting evidence-based vaccination strategies and health systems strengthening. Kiesha leads the Southeast Asia Regional Collaborative for Health (SEARCH), a Gates Foundation–supported network focused on raising leadership and building regional learning capacity in strategic purchasing for primary healthcare. She also heads the NUS Public Health Programme in Lao PDR, fostering bilateral engagement and providing technical assistance in health policy and systems. Through close collaboration with governments, global health organisations, and academic partners, Kiesha advances the translation of research into real-world policy and practice to improve population health outcomes.
