10th International Workshop on Adolescence, SRHR & HIV 2026
21 – 23 September 2026
SKY Girls BW, Botswana
Lesego Rathedi is a Junior SBC Communications specialist and digital content creator who builds strategic, evidence-driven media for young people. Since joining the Social Dialogue Organisation and SKY Girls BW, Lesego has supported multi-platform projects, print magazines, a youth podcast series, and peer-led community activations that reach young people across Gaborone, Francistown, and beyond.
Her role has helped put essential information into the hands of girls and young women via a trained network of peer distributors, school rollouts, and digital channels that together touch over 200,000 people online.
The work is practical and learning-centred: small, measurable improvements in knowledge about Anti-tobacco messaging, SRHR, mental well-being, and digital skills, more young people finding local services, and new peer groups forming listening clubs.
Lesego grounds her practice in rigorous monitoring and community feedback, treating results as starting points for iteration rather than final answers. She values partnerships with government and corporate stakeholders, and she is committed to translating evidence into scalable, respectful programmes that deliver sustainable benefits for girls and young women.
