Biography

Dr. Lila Haberl is a physician and researcher specializing in HIV and breastfeeding, a focus she has pursued since her doctoral thesis. Since 2021, she has been working as a resident physician at the University of Düsseldorf, where she continues to deepen her clinical and scientific expertise in this field.

Dr. Haberl is an active contributor to the German-Austrian HIV guidelines, serving as a member of the guideline committee. She also moderates the quarterly jour-fixe meetings of WAVE, a working group within the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), helping to drive forward international collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field.

Dr. Haberl is currently on parental leave following the birth of her daughter Rosa.
