Biography

Martina Mchenga, PhD (Malawi) is a Post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Social Science Research (CSSR), University of Cape town. She is working on a global fund project with the goal of informing policy for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) programming in the national strategies. On the project, she is specifically co-leading the costing and modelling component to help identify interventions that are cost-effective in reducing HIV infections among AGYW. She also conducts analysis to identifying interventions that accelerate HIV prevention among adolescent girls and young women.
