Biography

Dr Mas Chaponda is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He joined HMC in 2020 from the UK where he previously worked as a consultant in Infectious Diseases and Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool as well as Research fellow at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Dr Chaponda trained in General Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. His interests include HIV, blood borne viruses, TB, bacterial infections and clinical trials.
