Biography

Maximina is an established HIV and gender equality advocate and young woman leader. She has eight years of experience in health programming with a focus on adolescent girls and young women, gender equality and women’s empowerment, sexual reproductive health and rights, youth development, and leadership. Maximina has previously worked to support children and young people living with HIV to access Quality care through differentiated service delivery. Maximina has taken on long and short-term roles in research, Advisory boards, Technical and community body leaderships including HIV vaccine and treatment trials in sub-Saharan Africa. She is the Programmes Manager and HER Voice Fund Coordinator at Y+ Global.
