Dr. Michaeline (Mikki) McGuinty trained in Medicine at McMaster University, and completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at The Ottawa Hospital. She is an Early Career Clinician Scientist at The Ottawa Hospital/OHRI whose work has focused on immunologic therapies for HIV cure, women with HIV, and maternal-fetal immunology with a view to advancing our understanding of maternal vaccination. During the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic she has also worked on clinical trials of COVID-19 therapies, vaccines, and studies of the immune response to SARS-CoV-2.
