Biography

Miguel Vieira Braga de Araújo Abreu is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Hospital de Santo António – ULSSA, Porto, Portugal. He teaches Infectious Diseases at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS), University of Porto. His clinical and research work focuses on HIV medicine, including antiretroviral therapy, service organization and implementation, and real-world outcomes. He has served as an investigator in multiple HIV clinical studies and is an author/co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications. He also contributes regularly to postgraduate education and national and international scientific meetings.
