Biography

Mika’il Toefy is from the suburb of Grassy Park in the Western Cape. He is currently the top academic in his class at Norman Henshilwood High School. He also serves on the RCL and holds the position as the chair of the grade 11 fundraising committee and the school's technical team. He first realized his leadership capabilities when he was chosen as Head Boy of Groote Schuur Primary in 2018.

In grade 8 he received the coveted principal’s award for integrity and dedication. He is currently a member of the Interact Club, which brings hope to different communities by offering companionship or a sympathetic ear. This has afforded Mika’il rare insights into what the vulnerable sectors of South Africa and specifically Cape Town communities need.
