Biography

Dr. Kaku is the Professor Emeritus at Tohoku University and Director of the Tokyo Center for Infectious Disease Control and Prevention (Tokyo iCDC). He is a leading expert in infection control in Japan, and also a member of the WHO Global Infection Prevention and Control Network.
