Biography

Nicole Poovan is a qualified medical doctor who completed her Medical Degree at the University of Cape Town. Her area of expertise is in clinical research and she is currently working as a research clinician at Wits RHI, Johannesburg, South Africa. Her work focuses on HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health. This includes research in new PrEP methodologies and adherence strategies to support daily oral PrEP for HIV prevention.
