MD and PhD from Athens University Medical School, qualifications in Internal Medicine (2009) and Infectious Diseases (2011). Fellowship in Pitié-Salpêtrière HIV department in 2019. Clinical posts in teaching hospitals in Athens. Current post in the ID/HIV department of the largest Greek hospital where 10% of the country’s PLWH receive care. Mainly clinical background, with research interests in HIV therapeutics and special populations. WAVE /EACS member, currently involved in 3 working groups –Migrant Women, Menopause, Healthcare Perception.
This module addresses the unique challenges faced by women living with HIV as they transition through menopause. It combines clinical insights on symptom management and co-morbidities with perspectives from the community. Participants will learn about effective support strategies, up-to-date treatment considerations, and comprehensive care approaches to improve quality of life for this population.
