Biography

Piter Oosterhof is a hospital and community pharmacist and health scientist with extensive experience in HIV care and pharmacotherapy. He currently works as a hospital pharmacist at OLVG Hospital and combines his clinical work with research on cost-effective and sustainable healthcare. Piter is also the co-founder of PharmaSwap.com, an award-winning platform that promotes the circular use of medicines to reduce waste in healthcare

He obtained his PhD from Radboud University, where his research focused on financial challenges in antiretroviral therapy and cost-saving strategies in HIV care. His broader goal is to contribute to a more sustainable healthcare system through smarter pharmacological stewardship and multidisciplinary collaboration.
