Biography

Prashant is a youth HIV advocate, youth leader and Penta Young Reporter from India, working at the intersection of youth engagement, HIV advocacy and scientific communication. As a Penta Young Reporter, he engages with researchers, clinicians, policymakers and advocates, translating emerging HIV research into accessible, youth-centred communication while bringing young people’s perspectives into scientific and policy discussions. He also serves as a State Youth Ambassador with Youth Lead Voices and has worked with the National Coalition of People Living with HIV in India (NCPI+), collaborating with community and government stakeholders to strengthen youth participation in HIV and health programmes. Prashant holds a certification in Public Health Management from the Indian Institute of Public Health.
