Biography

Dr. Priscilla Tsondai is a public health specialist with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of global health research, policy, and programme implementation in low- and middle-income countries. She currently serves as Technical Lead for the Paediatric HIV (CIPHER) Programme at IAS – the International AIDS Society, where she contributes to shaping global research, policy, and programme priorities to improve outcomes for infants, children, and adolescents living with and affected by HIV.

Her work spans grant and fellowship portfolio management, evidence synthesis and dissemination, research-to-policy translation, and the use of data to strengthen implementation and decision-making. She has led and supported multi-country HIV research and programming, with a focus on accelerating the uptake of evidence-based interventions. She also contributes to global scientific and technical platforms focused on eliminating vertical transmission of HIV and other infections, strengthening the paediatric HIV cascade, and advancing the use of real-world data to monitor outcomes and inform policy and practice.

Priscilla holds a PhD in Public Health, an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and a medical degree.
