Biography

Rhoda Msiska is a 2024 AVAC Advocacy Fellow, hosted by Copper Rose Zambia, working to advance understanding of, and support for, the introduction of the Dual Prevention Pill (DPP) in Zambia. She is the first Zambian member of the DPP Civil Society Advisory Group, providing regional advisory insights from a local perspective. Passionate about improving health outcomes for adolescent girls and young women, Rhoda previously served as a 2023 AVAC Advocacy Navigator, advocating for expanded access to HIV prevention services to reduce new infections. Through her Fellowship, she aims to increase women-controlled HIV prevention options and strengthen integrated sexual and reproductive health programs in Zambia.
