Professor Dr Rosmawati Mohamed is a Consultant Hepatologist and an advocate for hepatitis elimination and liver cancer control. She was the Founding Co-chair of the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Committee for Viral Hepatitis and a founding Co-chair of the Coalition to Eradicate Viral Hepatitis in the Asia Pacific.

She currently leads the Ministry of Health Technical Working Group for Liver Cancer, shaping national policies on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hepatocellular carcinoma under the National Strategic Plan for Non-Communicable Diseases.

Prof Rosmawati is the Immediate Past Master of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, having led the specialist organisation for eight years, and is a member of the Malaysian Medical Council, contributing to specialist recognition, training, and professional development.
