Biography

Dr. Samia Dakhia is the Senior Medical Affairs Director, head of Medical Operations for Europe and the international region. She obtained her medical degree in 2000 and a paediatric surgeon certificate at the University of Algiers, Algeria, in 2006, and subsequently worked in the national health systems in Algeria and France. In 2011, she joined ViiV Healthcare. Samia had been working at the country and regional level, and in her previous role, she launched Cabotegravir and Rilpivirine in Europe.
