Biography

Santosh KC is a deaf rights advocate, educator, trainer, and disability inclusion leader from Nepal. He currently serves as the President of the National Federation of the Deaf Nepal (NDFN). He has extensive experience in Deaf and disability rights, organizational leadership, inclusive education, and community empowerment, including many years of experience as a Deaf teacher and trainer.

A key area of his advocacy and professional work is adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and HIV/AIDS among Deaf people and persons with disabilities. He works to promote accessible and inclusive information, awareness, services, and participation for Deaf adolescents and persons with disabilities, particularly in relation to sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, rights, and access to appropriate services.

As an advocate, his areas of work include adolescent SRHR, HIV/AIDS, Deaf-friendly inclusive education, civic and voter education, political rights, teacher training, gender equality, disability empowerment and inclusion. His work focuses on strengthening the rights, inclusion, health, dignity, and meaningful participation of Deaf people, adolescents, youths, and persons with disabilities in society, treating all equally in line with the principle of leaving no one behind.
