Biography

Siyasanga Qgamlana was born in King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and moved to Khayelitsha in Cape Town in her teenage years, as she was seeking a better life. In Khayelitsha, she quickly embraced sports and continued her passion for netball which developed while growing up in the Eastern Cape.

In 2016, she graduated at Grade 12 from Ikamva Lethu Secondary School. Unfortunately, because of financial constraints she could not continue with her schooling. With her love for sports and a healthy lifestyle, she joined the Dischem Pharmacy in 2017 as a casual worker assisting the pharmacists.

In 2019, she was accepted as a life SKILLZ coach at the Grassroot Soccer programme. Siyasanga loves working with kids as it brings her joy and inspiration.
