Dr. Susanna Weidlinger is a senior physician at the University Department of Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine, Inselspital Bern, Switzerland and President of the Swiss Society for Gynaecological Endocrinology, Contraception and Menopause, where she leads and implements initiatives to improve education, research and clinical practice in these areas. Her work also encompasses transgender medicine and focuses on hormone therapy and individualised care for transgender individuals. Broadly, she is dedicated to sex hormones and is known for her evidence-based approach and commitment to improving health care for women and people at different stages of life.
This module addresses the unique challenges faced by women living with HIV as they transition through menopause. It combines clinical insights on symptom management and co-morbidities with perspectives from the community. Participants will learn about effective support strategies, up-to-date treatment considerations, and comprehensive care approaches to improve quality of life for this population.
