Biography

Prof. Won Hyeok Choe is a professor at Konkuk University Hospital and currently holds the position of Chair of Internal Medicine at Konkuk University School of Medicine.

Prof. Choe graduated with a medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency and fellowship at Samsung Medical Center from 1998 to 2003.

Prof. Choe has taken on a number of roles, including Director of the Committee on Public Relations (2022–2023) and Auditor (2024–present) of the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver (KASL).
