Biography

Dr. Young Joon Park is Director of the Division of Infectious Disease Control at the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). He oversees national programs for the surveillance, prevention, and response to infectious diseases, including viral hepatitis. Dr. Park plays a key role in developing Korea’s infectious disease policies and strengthening international cooperation in disease elimination efforts. He has extensive experience in public health and has contributed to numerous initiatives aimed at improving national and global health security.
