Dr. Chan is an Associate Research Scientist at the Department of Neurology, Yale School of Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed his fellowship training in internal medicine and neurology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Yale in 2022, he worked as a research fellow on NeuroHIV projects conducted in Bangkok, Thailand and completed his PhD on the neurological impacts of acute HIV infection at the University of Amsterdam in 2021. He also collaborated on neurodegenerative disease research projects with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology between 2018 and 2022.
