Professor Dr Rosmawati Mohamed is a Consultant Hepatologist and an advocate for hepatitis elimination and liver cancer control. She has held global and regional leadership roles in viral hepatitis and liver cancer initiatives, including with the World Health Organization.

She currently chairs the Ministry of Health Technical Working Group for Liver Cancer, leading the development of Malaysia's National Strategic Plan for Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Prof Rosmawati is the Immediate Past Master of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, having led the specialist organisation for eight years, and is a member of the Malaysian Medical Council, contributing to specialist recognition, training, and professional development
