Dr. Chunyan Li is a post-doctoral fellow at Tokyo College, the University of Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Li earned her PhD in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Master of Science in Health Policy and Management and Bachelor of Medicine from Peking University, China. Her research focuses on digital health-enabled intervention for HIV prevention and sexual health promotion among LGBTQIA+ communities, and using social innovation in generating health solutions within community engagement frameworks. She has worked on research projects that aim to understand unmet healthcare needs among gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM), and to develop eHealth interventions through community-engaged activities and crowdsourcing strategies in low- and middle-income settings. Her post-doctoral research focuses on developing digital solutions to make HIV prevention and care more accessible among international MSM migrants in Japan.
