Angela Tembo is a social scientist at Wits Ezintsha, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, and a PhD candidate at Utrecht University. Her work centres on implementation research to advance person-centred approaches to HIV prevention.
She serves as co-PI of the PPrEPP-SA study, which evaluates pharmacy and online delivery of HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health services in South Africa.
As an Afri-HIGH IRI Fellow, Angela seeks to strengthen the role of pharmacies in delivering high-impact HIV prevention services, that expand equitable access to care.
