Dr Rayner Kay Jin TAN is an Assistant Professor and leads The Courage Lab at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, and National University Health System. He is an implementation and socio-behavioural scientist whose work spans areas of stigma and health, community engagement, and health equity. Rayner was a recipient of the Fulbright Visiting Research Scholarship in 2022/2023 and received training in implementation sciences as a HIGH-IRI fellow for implementation science at Washington University in St. Louis. He is currently deputy editor of the Journal of the International AIDS Society and Associate Editor at the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine. He is also Head of Research at The Greenhouse Community Services Limited, a charity offering substance use recovery services, and a board member of Project X Society serving the needs of sex workers. He is also a co-lead at SG Mental Health Matters to spur public engagement in mental health policymaking.
