Evolving Care and Management of Patients With Multidrug-Resistant HIV | Satellite Symposium at IAS 2021
Thank You Message
The satellite symposium at IAS 2021 on Evolving Care and Management of Patients With Multidrug-Resistant HIV was held virtually on 19 July 2021. The enduring materials of this program were made available for the following month on the IAS 2021 platform for registered delegates and members. The program focused on learning more about HIV patients with limited treatment options. It addressed available tools to identify these patients, resistance considerations in treatment decisions, and how to tackle polypharmacy, drug-drug interactions, and co-morbidities, among other topics. The program provided insights into new treatment options and how best to integrate them into optimal antiretroviral regimens.
The live stream included lectures and faculty discussions from Dr. Clíona Ní Cheallaigh, Dr. David Back, and Dr. Francois Venter.
