International Workshop on Clinical Pharmacology of Tuberculosis Drugs 2021

Welcome

After an absence of one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce that the 13th edition of the International Workshop on Clinical Pharmacology of Tuberculosis Drugs took place from 11-12 November 2021, as a virtual meeting. This abstract-driven workshop has been the leading annual meeting in the tuberculosis (TB) pharmacology field since 2008. The aim of the meeting is to contribute to the optimization of TB treatment by providing an independent platform for presentation and discussion of the latest scientific developments in the TB pharmacology field. The target audience of this workshop are preclinical and clinical pharmacology researchers from academia and industry; medical doctors, pharmacists and pharmacologists involved in clinical management of TB patients; PhD students; and representatives from regulatory or non-governmental organizations active in the TB-field. The program consisted of state-of-the-art lectures by selected invited experts, combined with oral and poster abstract presentations. The workshop was informal in setting and highly interactive.
