Requirements:

1) Proposal must be submitted by an NGO

2) Proposal submission by the deadline at the latest. There will be running approvals, so please submit any proposals at your earliest convenience to improve your changes of approval.

3) Proposal must be

• Maximum 2 pages
• In English
• Include:

- Title;

- Purpose;

- Target audience;

- Summary of content (including if any special set-up will be needed);

- Potential / confirmed speakers; and

- Learning objectives.

• Submitted as electronic files to Tika.Tanujaya@amededu.com 

• Applications will be reviewed by the Program Chairs and Scientific Management.
• Preference will be given to applications with relevance for the Asia-Pacific region.
• There are limited slots available and these will be divided on a “first-come-first-served” basis. Applications will be reviewed on a regular basis with running approval and allocation of time/date slot. Therefore, the sooner you submit an application, the better are the chances of the application being approved and included in the program.

Dear colleagues,

The Asia-Pacific AIDS & Co-Infections Conference (APACC) 2023 took place from 8 to 10 June 2023 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre as a hybrid conference. 

Over the years, enormous progress has been made in the fight against HIV and co-infections. Both academia and industry have contributed greatly to equipping the medical community with the best medications and expertise possible to optimally treat people living with HIV. However, international platforms for scientific interchange are not always accessible to medical professionals worldwide due to budget and travel restrictions. Also, most major conferences do not usually address local and regional issues. In particular, the Asian medical community in this field of research currently has very few platforms that serve the needs of HIV healthcare professionals in this region.

APACC provides a much-needed scientific platform that focuses on the developments, issues, and needs in the Asia-Pacific region. Researchers have the opportunity to present and discuss the latest developments and are offered opportunities for interaction, networking, and building collaborations. Top experts integrate science and clinical practice through state-of-the-art lectures, clinical case discussions, round table discussions, and debates in order to reach a consensus on best practices and inform how treatment guidelines are implemented.

APACC 2023 is accredited by the following societies. To claim the CME points, members of the societies must either log on to the virtual congress portal, or sign up on the attendance sheet onsite, and attend the full sessions. Additional information such as membership number or license number might be required after the event.

APACC 2023 is accredited by the Taiwan AIDS Society with 4 credits. To claim the CME points, members of the Taiwan AIDS Society must log on to the virtual congress portal or sign up on the attendance sheet onsite and attend the full sessions.  

Fellows of the Academy that participate in overseas activities physically or online may submit their attendance proofs to their respective Colleges for CMECPD claim. Please be aware that some Academy Colleges might request their Fellows to seek pre-approval before attending overseas CMECPD activities. The approval will be up to individual Colleges’ own CMECPD accreditation policies

The Asia-Pacific AIDS & Co-Infections Conference (APACC) 2023, Singapore, 08/06/2023 - 10/06/2023, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 11 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

APACC 2023 is accredited by the Infectious Diseases Association of Thailand (IDAT) with up to 14.5 credits. To claim the CME points, members of the IDAT must attend the full sessions (in-person or virtually). 

APACC 2023 is accredited by the Malaysian Pharmacists Society with 20 credits. To claim the points, members must attend the full sessions (in-person or virtually).
