A global initiative, established by a female-led organization in collaboration with leading international experts, dedicated to empowering women scientists, healthcare professionals, and women communities affected by HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STI) worldwide.


Women in Control aims to reduce gender disparity in science, clinical care, and society at large.

Women in Control strives to achieve equality across all continents, tailoring its activities to diverse healthcare systems and socioeconomic milieus.

Women in Control builds capacity in communities of women living with or being at risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted conditions. It enables them to take charge of their health and promote a society that upholds dignity, equality, and health equity.
