Alastair Hudson

Biography

Alastair Hudson is currently the CEO of HIV Scotland and the UK country coordinator for The People Living with HIV Stigma Survey, the UK’s largest community led research initiative looking at the lived experience of stigma and discrimination for people living HIV. He has worked with The International Planned Parenthood Federation, (IPPF) where he developed ‘Learning Positive’, an educational tool for teachers to support HIV Awareness in Schools, and the global ‘Criminalize Hate not HIV Campaign’ and media for ‘Dead End Kids’  As a freelance consultant Alastair worked with, UNAIDS, UNODC, ‘HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care for People Who Use Stimulant Drugs’, Brook Young People to develop the Public Health England Condom Distribution Scheme (C Card) Guidance, NAZ Project London, ‘Testing Faith’ to support greater sexual health literacy amongst Muslim and Christian Faith Leaders.  More recently with International AIDS Society (IAS) where he conducted several conference evaluations and produced toolkits and multimedia assets to support the dissemination of their conference outputs to their global membership.
