Alícia Krüger is a Brazilian transgender woman. She is a Clinical Pharmacist, holds a Post-Graduate Diploma on STIs, HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis and Tuberculosis and a Master’ degree in Public Health (focused on pharmacoepidemiology). She is currently a PhD candidate in Medicine (Clinical Endocrinology). She is co-founder and former president of the Brazilian Professional Association for Transgender Health (BRPATH) - the first transgender woman worldwide to be president of an WPATH affiliated Association. She is currently working as an Epidemiologist at the Center for Strategic Information on Health Surveillance at the Paraná State Health Department and also as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Curitiba’s Center of Counseling on HIV/aids and other STI.
