Ama Appiah is a HIV pharmacist with over 13 years’ HIV experience in the NHS, working in London with predominantly Black African communities prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry. Ama is currently the Patient Affairs lead for Europe at ViiV healthcare. A role which aims to amplify the voice of people living with HIV and ensure it is integrated across our work through building trusted partnerships with the HIV community. In addition to her role at ViiV, she is a grant manager for Positive Action and volunteer fundraiser for CHIVA Africa.
