Ana González-Cordón is a Specialist in Infectious Diseases at Hospital Clínic of Barcelona (Spain) and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona. She has worked as a clinician and researcher focusing on several aspects of HIV infection and STIs since 2008.
She is member of the Spanish (GeSIDA) and European HIV societies (EACS). She is author of more than 80 peer-reviewed articles and has been co-author of the national Guidelines (GeSIDA) on Antiretroviral Therapy and other clinical guidelines. She has been the principal investigator of national and international projects on the field of HIV/ Infectious Diseases.
Her current main areas of research are cardiovascular disease and HIV, long acting antiretrovirals and women health.
